While highlights of this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart will be revealed tomorrow (April 30), details are already emerging about next week’s chart, where singer and actress Ariana Grande may make a strong appearance.

Industry sources are suggesting that her new song, Problem ,” which features Australian rapper Iggy Azalea , could sell more than 300,000 downloads in the tracking week ending Sunday, May 2, following its digital release on Monday April 27, 2014.

Such a start, regardless of any added airplay or streaming points, would likely translate to a top 10 debut on the sales/airplay/streaming-based Hot 100.

Produced by and co-written with Max Martin , the song serves as the official lead single from her upcoming second studio album which is set to be released within the summer of this year.

If the song does debut in the top 10, it will be Ariana’s second Top 10 entry following her debut single “The Way,” featuring Mac Miller , which debuted at #10 and peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last Spring.

The new album will follow her debut studio album Your Truly , which was released on September 3, 2013.

Since debuting at #1 with 138,000 copies in its first week, the album has went on to sell 421,000 copies to date. Thoughts?
