Margot Robbie, Chiwitel Ejiofor’s ‘Z for Zachariah’ Set for DVD/Blu-ray in Oct.

Z For Zachariah (2015), an emotionally-charged post-apocalyptic drama starring Margot Robbie ( Focus ), Chiwetel Ejiofor ( 12 Years a Slave ) and Chris Pine ( Star Trek ), will be available on DVD/Blu-ray on October 20, 2015 .

The Craig Zobel -directed film, which hit U.S. theaters and On Demand on August 28, 2015 via Roadside Attractions, centers on Ann Burden (Margot), a village girl who survives a nuclear war and meets John Loomis (Chiwetel), a coldly rational scientist. As the two build a connection, Caleb (Chris) shows up and their bond begins to unravel.

Adapted from Robert C. O’Brien ‘s 1974 science-fiction novel by Nissar Modi , Z For Zachariah was a standout at its 2015 Sundance Film Festival premiere.

It was produced by Skuli Fr. Malmquist, Thor Sigurjonsson, Sigurjón Sighvatsson, Tobey Maguire, Matthew Plouffe , and Sophia Lin for Zik Zak Filmworks, Material Pictures, and Lucky Hat Entertainment.

Steve Bannatyne, Claudia Bluemhuber, Barry Brooker, Timothy Christian, Bill Johnson, Ryan R. Johnson, Jim Seibel, Stan Wertlieb , and Robby J. Williams served as executive producers.

Z For Zachariah will arrive in theaters in Portugal on September 3, 2015, the Philippines on September 30, and Lithuania on October 23.
