Watch: U.S. Trailer for South Korean Body-Hopping Comedy ‘The Beauty Inside’

Check out the new English-subtitled trailer for The Beauty Inside (2015), a South Korean romantic comedy about a guy who wakes up every day as a different person.

The feature debut for commercial director Baek Jong-Yeol is based on Intel and Toshiba’s 2012 social film of the same name by Drake Doremus, which won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding New Approach to an Original Daytime Program or Series in 2013.

The storyline is very similar to David Levithan‘s 2012 bestselling novel, Every Day.

Woo-Jin, who is played by over 20 different actors and actresses, including Park Shin-Hye and Yoo Yeon-Seok, wakes up in a different body everyday.

While he’s the same person on the inside, on the outside he’s a different age, gender or nationality.

The only constant in his frustrating life is the girl he loves, Yi-Soo (Han Hyo-Joo), who knows his secret and loves him anyway.

Each time he transforms, Woo-Jin must figure out how to return to his own body and reunite with Yi-Soo.

A Yong Film production, The Beauty Inside premiered in South Korea on August 20, 2015 through Next Entertainment World after pre-selling its distribution rights at the Cannes Film Market. It brought in $4.2 million at the box office.

The Beauty Inside will make its U.S. premiere on September 11, 2015 via Well Go USA.
