Fruitvale Station star Michael B. Jordan was honored at a Vanity Fair event at LA’s Soho House on Monday night.
He was joined by his co-star Octavia Spencer , Fruitvale ‘s director Ryan Coogler , the film’s producer Forest Whitaker , and Zac Efron , Michael’s co-star in the upcoming comedy That Awkward Moment (Jan. 31).

Michael was also recently awarded at the 2013 Hollywood Film Awards alongside Lee Daniels ( The Butler ), Steve McQueen ( 12 Years A Save ), Jake Gyllenhaal ( Prisoners ) and David Oyelowo ( The Butler ), receiving the Hollywood Spotlight Award.
Soon we’ll see the budding star take on the role of Apollo Creed ‘s grandson of in the Rocky spinoff Creed , for which he will reunite with Coogler.
He’ll also play The Human Torch (Johnny Storm) in the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot !
