I have some great news for all of my fellow Drake fans and supporters out there. Firstly, the singer and part-time rapper has released two new songs today: “Jodeci Freestyle,” featuring J. Cole and “The Motion,” featuring Sampha , a frequent SBTRKT collaborator.

Two other songs, PARTYNEXTDOOR ’s “Over Here” and Atlanta trio Migo ’s “Versace” have also been released and feature Drake as a guest.

They serve as a bit of promo for his upcoming highly anticipated third studio album Nothing Was the Same . Speaking of the album, the news that I’m sure will get you guys most excited is that the official release date of the album has been announced.

Fans can expected the set to be available in retail stores and digital online stores on September 17, 2013, just before summer ends.

Details surrounding the album are still quit slim, but you can expect all of that to change within the next few weeks and up until the album is released.

The tour will visit cities such as Vancouver, Chicago, Cleveland, Montreal, and New Orleans before ending at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday, November 25, 2013, and will feature R&B singer Miguel , rising rapper/singer Future and many other special guests.
