Demi Lovato Chooses “Made In The USA” as Official Second Single

Demi Lovato

I was hoping that this would get chosen as a single, and by golly it did! Demi Lovato has chosen the synth-pop/pop rock song “Made In The USA” as the official second single from her fourth studio album Demi , which was released on May 14, 2013.

The mid-tempo song was written by Jonas Jeberg, Jason Evigan, Corey Chorus, Blair Perkins and Demi herself, with production by Jeberg and Evigan.

The song will officially hit the Top 40 radio on June 27, 2013, which is the same day that Demi is set to perform on Good Morning America.

The video, which was shot a few weeks ago, was co-directed by the singer, and is said to feature some special surprise actors, according to a press release.

Take a look at what Demi had to say to Billboard last month about her album, and then watch the lyric video for “Made In The USA” afterwards:

“With my album this time, I wanted to go into it keeping in mind that I want to listen to stuff on the radio that I can relate to. I think the reason why artists like Adele and Taylor Swift are so relatable is because they talk about their experiences and pour it out in their songs. There’s a lot more to their music than just partying and going out.”
