Justin Timberlake’s ‘20/20 Experience’ To Debut Big

Justin Timberlake Suit & Tie Promo

What better way to make my return from a much needed vacation than talking about an artist who is doing the same thing.

In case you aren’t sure who that is, it’s Justin Timberlake , and as a reminder to those of you who may have forgotten, I’m Teonny Spears, did you miss me?

While the singer and actor’s long awaited third studio album, The 20/20 Experience , won’t be officially released until March 19th (next Tuesday!), it is already expected to have a big debut on the Billboard 200 Albums chart on the week of March 27, 2013.

Thanks to iTunes allowing fans to listen to the album in its entirety for free yesterday, those in the know suggest that the album could sell at least 500,000 copies in its debut week, easily securing JT his second #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart ( FutureSex/LoveSounds debuted at #1 with sales of 684,000 in 2006).

The album’s predicted half-million sale debut however, can defiantly change to a bigger number once the album reaches retailers.

If things manage to work out that way, the set could score the best sales week for an album in four months, with the last album selling more than a half-million in a week being One Direction ‘s second studio album, Take Me Home, which opened with 540,000 after its release on November 13, 2012.

The last solo male artist to sell more than 500,000 in a week was Drake , when his second studio album Take Care debuted with at #1 with sales of 631,000 copies on the Billboard 200 Albums chart back in 2011. Thoughts?
