According to THR, Beyoncé‘s highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show is about to get much bigger. Pepsi announced today that they will be having a contest that allows 100 fans to join the singer onstage February 3, 2013 at the New Orleans Superdome.
The contest will begin tomorrow, December 29, 2012, and fans can submit images of themselves in various poses, which will be used in a television commercial for Bey‘s performance.
50 people, who will be able to bring a friend with them, will then be chosen to join the singer onstage.
The contest will end on January 19, 2013, but for those who wish to join Beyoncé onstage, images must be submitted by January 11th.
The pop superstar will follow this year’s halftime show performer Madonna, who took the stage with Cee Lo Green, M.I.A., LMFAO and Nicki Minaj. The performance was watched by more than 112.5 million viewers, including myself, who only watched the event for Madonna.
Other Super Bowl halftime performers have included the Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Prince, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, and The Rolling Stones. Thoughts?
