Watch: Jason Momoa Tight-Lipped About Aquaman Role in ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’

Though it has been reported that Jason Momoa ( Game of Thrones / The Red Road ) will play the role of Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice , the 34-year-old actor would neither confirm or deny when grilled by Jimmy Kimmel last week.

“Those are all rumours,” Jason stated. He then toyed with the audience saying, “That would be pretty exciting. What do you think?”

Aquaman, also known as Arthur, King of Atlantis, rules the world’s oceans and possesses superstrength and the power to communicate with sea life.

Directed by Zack Snyder , Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. The film will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.

Jason also spoke about Road to Paloma (2014), the drama thriller film he wrote, directed, and starred in alongside his wife Lisa Bonet .\

The movie, which centers on a Native American man who is on the run after avenging his mother’s murder, premiered at Sarasota Film Festival on April 12th.

It will arrive on iTunes on July 4th, in Los Angeles theaters on July 11th, and OnDemand on July 15th.
