Trevor Noah will take over as the new host of The Daily Show beginning September 28, 2015, Comedy Central revealed on Thursday.

The 31-year-old South African comedian was confirmed as the replacement for Jon Stewart in March. In the announcement video, he attempts to get comfortable in Jon’s chair. Watch below.

Trevor, who made his debut as an on-air contributor on The Daily Show in December, will be the show’s third host following Jon and the first host, Craig Kilborn.

Born in apartheid South Africa to a black South African (Xhosa) mother and white (Swiss-German) father, he is expected to provide a younger, international perspective to the show.

The Daily Show airs on weekdays at 11pm.
