Currently rising up the charts with his “Classic Man” single, dapper Wondaland rapper Jidenna flexes his skills with a live Vevo DSCVR performance of his new song, “Long Live The Chief.” Watch above.

“Now they say, ‘Jidenna why ya dressin’ so classy?’ / I don’t want my best dressed day in a casket,” quips the sharply-dressed Nigerian/American artist, snagging a new set of fans who find his style refreshing — flow included.

Based in Brooklyn, Jidenna is signed to Janelle Monáe ‘s Wondaland Records label, which will soon release its debut EP, The Eephus .

“Classic Man,” featuring labelmate Roman GianArthur , leads the EP. It has peaked at #81 on the Hot 100, #13 on US R&B, #37 US R&B/Hip-hop Airplay, #39 on US Rhythmic, and #5 on Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles charts.

He also assists on Janelle’s new body roll jam “ Yoga ,” The Eephus ‘ second single, which is at #14 on US R&B and #19 on US R&B Digital charts.
