Pregnancy is a whole other ordeal for women over 40, which is “the new 30” unless you’re with child.
A comedy short titled Curdled represents these very women who chose their education or career before motherhood.
Directed by Yolande Geralds, the film stars Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP), who also executive produces the feature, Chenoa Maxwell (Lenox Avenue), and Robinne Lee (Being Mary Jane).
Joy (Chenoa) is the leader of a 40+ prenatal support group, where mothers-to-be like Tara (Robinne) are trying to figure it all out. KeKe plays Mara, Tara’s teenage daughter, who is still struggling with the thought of her mom having a baby.
