FOX (those lucky bastards) has reportedly scooped up the exclusive worldwide premiere rights to Rihanna ‘s forthcoming concert documentary, Rihanna 777 , which is set to air officially on Monday May 6, 2013.
The film is said to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at her Unapologetic album promo tour, that visited seven countries in seven days with seven shows.
The singer’s tour made a lot of headlines back in November with some passengers being uncomfortable conditions on the aircraft and lack of face-time with the star, a journalist streaking, and donning a see-through marijuana shirt while in Berlin.
In other Rihanna news, the singer is currently on tour in support of the album, after having to cancel two shows last week due to her being under the weather.
I honestly think (know) that FOX is doing this to get some viewers due to their once hit shows being lackluster these days. Most recently, he network suffered disappointing ratings for the latest season of The X Factor , which even my holy savior of pop music Britney Spears couldn’t save. Thoughts?
