Britney Spears Currently Working With Hit-Boy & More On 8th Studio Album

Britney Spears 2012

Britney Spears Working On New Studio Album, Enlisting Hit-Boy, will.i.am & More

What better way to start off the new year, than getting news that your favorite artist is releasing their eighth studio album within the next few months? Exactly, nothing!!! Instead of dealing with those wonderful, I mean horrible, X Factor exit rumors, Britney Spears announced that she is very hard at work on her new studio album.

My fellow Britney stans and I have all been rejoicing, and hoped that Britney would release a new album after tweeting Blackout 2.0 in October of 2012.

Queen Britney went on to state that she was “collaborating with some inspiring new producers” on the album, such as Hit-Boy, who’s the mastermind behind Kanye and Jay-Z‘s “Ni**az in Paris,” Rihanna‘s “Watch n’ Learn” from 2011′s Talk That Talk, and Brandy‘s “1st & Love,” from her fifth studio album Human.

While there are currently little details, will.i.am has been confirmed as a producer for the album, and as always, we can expect Max Martin, who has served as a collaborator on all of Britney’s albums (expect for 2003′s In the Zone and 2007′s Blackout.

There is really no need for me to say how excited I am about this news. If you know me very well, or simply re-read the first paragraph, it should be quite obvious that I’m about to have a heart-attack.
