‘Hit The Floor’ Promo

After several teasers last month, a trailer for VH1’s forthcoming scripted drama series Hit The Floor (originally titled Bounce ) has finally been released.

Starring Kimberly Elise ( Woman Thou Art Loosed ), newcomer Taylour Paige, Charlotte Ross ( NYPD Blue ) , Logan Browning (Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns ), Dean Cain ( Lois & Clark ), and Valery Ortiz ( South of Nowhere ), the hour-long show centers on the lives and loves of a team of professional basketball dancers, the Los Angeles Devil Girls. Here’s the synopsis:

Ahsha (Taylour Paige) is a sheltered young woman who joins the team against the wishes of her mother Sloane (Kimberly Elise), who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been an original Devil’s Girl herself.

Olivia (Charlotte Ross) is the shrewd squad manager, Jelena (Logan Browning) is the ruthless star captain of the dance team and Pete Davenport (Dean Cain) is the former All-Star who’s come back to coach his old team only to have to contend with the girls both stealing the spotlight and distracting his players.

The trailer, which features Diplo and Nicky Da B ‘s “Express Yourself,” reveals the cattiness and backstabbing we can’t wait to see when the season begins on Memorial Day, May 27, 2013. Watch below!
