Sleepy Hollow’s Nicole Beharie Offers Advice for Men in Esquire September 2013

Star of FOX’s forthcoming mystery-adventure drama Nicole Beharie poses for the September 2013 issue of Esquire Magazine where she also tells a few jokes and gives men some helpful advice.

“Pick up lines are stupid. Tell us your damn name. It works.”

In her role as Sheriff Abbie Mills, she’ll be hunting down the murderous Headless Horseman alongside Ichabod Crane (played by Tom Mison ) who will have to adjust to his partner being both African-American and a woman.

Premiering September 16th, Sleepy Hollow also stars John Cho ( Harold & Kumar / Star Trek Into Darkness ) and Orlando Jones ( Drumline / The Chicago 8 ).

For the photo shoot with Chris Fortuna , Nicole wears black lingerie, a silver mesh cover-up and black satin pumps.
