Madonna is officially back, bitches!!! After taking a few years off after her hit Sticky & Sweet Tour , she finally released her long awaited 12th studio album MDNA on Monday. Well according to HDD , the album is set to debut at #1 with sales between 325,000- 350,000 before the end of the week.
Not only does this mark the icon’s 8th #1 album, it also exceeds the debut of her last #1 album, Hard Candy , which sold a total of 280,000 copies in it’s 1st week. The album has been preceeded by “ Give Me All Your Luvin “ featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. , and “ Girl Gone Wild ,” which really gets out of my pants and into my boy shorts :)
This is wonderful news!!! I was kind of worried that the album wouldn’t sell much due to being leaked late last week. I did expect it to debut at #1, just not with the predicted sales. It seems that the promotion and choice of singles are to thank for this feat. I haven’t gotten my copy yet, but I will have it soon!!!
