Katy Perry ‘s Dark Horse , ” featuring Juicy J may have fallen from the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but it holds the position over on the Pop Songs chart for a fourth week.

Because of this interesting feat, she now holds the record for the most weeks at #1 in the 21-year history of the Pop Songs radio airplay chart all to herself, upping her career count to 46 weeks at #1.

Katy now has some bragging rights, due to pushing the previous #1 spot record holder, icon and musical legend Mariah Carey , to the #2 spot, with 45 weeks at #1.

Katy’s success comes from her 11 Pop Songs at #1, which is also a chart best-sum that she shares with fellow pop singer and good friend Rihanna , with “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg , being her best single due to spending a total of seven weeks in 2010.

In other good Katy Perry news, “Dark Horse” set the mark for the most weekly plays last week with 16,151 in the chart’s archives.

The play amount passes the 16,065 plays that her prior topper, “Roar,” drew on the October 19, 2013 chart.
