VH1’s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story premiered on Monday night and it seemed like everyone was tuned in and talking about it — from Chilli ‘s lopsided love affair with Dallas Austin to Pebbles ‘ shadiness. Well, about 4.5 million viewers were.

Airing twice on Monday, the heavily-anticipated biopic made VH1 history by becoming the network’s most watched original film ever.

Starring Keke Palmer as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas , Drew Sidora as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins , and rapper Lil’ Mama — who eerily embodied the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes .

The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and T-Boz, served as consultants and executive producers for the movie along with TLC’s manager Bill Diggins , Maggie Malina , Jeff Olde , Jill Holmes and Alexander A. Motlagh .

“We spent so much time with the girls. We hung around them. They spent the night, you name it,” Chilli said on HuffPost Live. “We did everything, because we wanted to really, almost overly prepare them for their role so that they could really deliver and they really did.”
