Marc Anthony Premieres New Single, “Vivir Mi Vida”
Months after his highly publicized divorce from Jennifer Lopez , Marc Anthony is back on his music grind!
He has released a brand new single titled “ Vivir mi vida ,” which he performed live for the first time at the 2013 Latin Billboard Awards on April 25th.
The upbeat and energetic song will appear on the Puerto Rican singer/actor’s 13th studio album of the same name, due in July.
The album marks a new chapter in his life, which apparently means heading back to his salsa roots — a place we haven’t been with him for almost 10 long years.
In an interview with NBC Today , Marc revealed that he “really needed to miss music.” He continued, “the arrangements represent all that I’ve learned throughout the years.”
Vivir Mi Vida features production by RedOne and Sergio George , who worked on Marc’s 1993 release Otra Nota and 1995′s Todo A Su Tiempo .
The dancefloor-ready tracklist includes a salsa version of Tito el Bambino ‘s bachata tune “Dime Si No Es Verdad.”
