Demi Lovato , whose self-titled fourth studio album Demi is on the way, covers the June 2013 issue of UK magazine, Company — available May 8th .
The pop singer recently expressed how eager she is for fans to finally hear her new effort on May 14th:
“With my new album, I’m hoping to provide inspiration for girls everywhere who are going through the same issues I’ve faced. I think this will come through in a lot of the material.
My first single is really special to me— to me it symbolizes my journey from the person I was to the happy healthy person I am today, and the fact that people are able to rise above anything, despite the odds.
I’m incredibly proud of this album. It’s better than anything I have ever done! I experimented with a variety of different sounds and poured my heart into writing these songs. I’m so excited for everyone to finally get the chance to hear them!”
The 13-track set (14 if you get the exclusive Target version of the album) features songs written by Demi herself, as well as Ryan Tedder, Cher Lloyd, Sean Douglas, and Tiffany Vartanyan — just to name a few.
Production credits include from The Suspex , who produced the album’s lead single “ Heart Attack ,” The Monsters and the Strangerz , Priscilla Renea , and Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou .
To get fans amped, the singer launched the Lovatics Speed Up Time campaign, where she “unlocked” each new song as its title became a trending topic on Twitter.
