It looks like the promo train for Cassie ‘s forthcoming sophomore album is back up and running! The Bad Boy artist has now released a new single featuring rapper Young Jeezy , “Balcony,” which officially hit iTunes today .

Produced by Rico Love , Earl Hood , and Eric Goudy II , the laid back electro-R&B track reminds us of a style we’re used to hearing from Drake ‘s producer Noah “40″ Shebib . It’s overflowing with sexuality as Cassie engages in some risqué outdoor business on her city balcony.

Both a new video for “Balcony” and a mixtape, entitled Rock A Bye Baby — are set to release later this month. The mixtape will feature production from Rob Holladay , Malay , Rico Love , Da Internz , and Knotch , as well as songwriter Stacy Barthe .

This Spring, Cassie was promoting another single, “ King of Hearts ,” which got a special remix by Kanye . Two videos for that song were released and she performed it live , her first appearance in six years, on BET’s 106 and Park .

Now that we’re hearing even more promising material from the artist, I think we can expect to be impressed with this new album.
