Just as I suspected, a new Whitney Houston compilation album will be released this year . Entitled I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston, the album will drop on November 13th through Sony Music/Arista Records .

The album will feature remastered versions of some of the late singer’s greatest hits such as “Greatest Love of All,” “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” “My Love Is Your Love,” and my personal fave “Exhale (Shoop Shoop),” just to name a few. It will also feature a previously unreleased song entitled “ Never Give Up.”
Also to be featured on the album is a duet version of “I Look to You,” featuring R. Kelly , who composed the original version of “I Look to You” for the 2009 album of the same name. He also sang the song at her funeral.
Though I knew that a greatest hits album would make it’s way into stores and digital retailers soon, I must admit that I’m slighty disappointed with the tracklisting. While I do agree that these are some of her well known songs, other hits such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “It’s Night Right (But It’s Okay),” and “I Learned From The Best,” should defintly be featured.
