If you’re going to be in or around Miami this month, this festival should on your list of things to do! The Miami Reggae Festival 2011 presented by Rockaz MVMT will be held on Saturday, April 30 in Peacock Park, Coconut Grove, Miami. Acts include Luciano & The Jah Messenger Band , Puerto Rico’s Billboard Nominated #1 reggae band, Cultura Profetica , Warrior King , Bonnie Casey , Spam All Stars , Connis Vanterpool , Florida’s 2010 Grammy winners Jahfe and more. The festival promotes the humanitarian causes of local and national organizations. During the midst of Spring, this event will attract patrons on a local, national and global scale. The Miami Reggae Festival is not only a music festival but a humanitarian effort to feed the hungry. They ask that you contribute to their food drive. This year, the drive will be at Curley’s House , an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for low-to-moderate income individuals, families, the elderly, youth-at-risk, the abused and HIV/AIDS infected individuals by providing bulk food products to needy residents.
