Last week, Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli was joined by R&B crooner Bilal and Grammy-winning jazz pianist Robert Glasper for a performance of “Come Here” at Blue Note NYC.
The sensual tune originally appears on Talib’s 2013 fifth studio album Prisoner Of Conscious , featuring Miguel . The album debuted at #48 on the Billboard 200 Albums.
A live version featuring RES is available now on Talib’s P.O.C. Live! , which released October 21st via his own imprint Javotti Media.
The 16-track set includes live appearances from Pharoahe Monch , who replaces Busta Rhymes on “Rocket Ships,” Glasper, who joins Abby Dobson on “Before He Walked,” and Ricardo Vogt on “Favela Love,” in place of Seu Jorge .
