Top Dawg Entertainment will have a lot to celebrate by the end of 2014, as CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith reveals plans for Kendrick Lamar ‘s sophomore album to be released in September.

The set will follow the Compton rapper’s critically acclaimed 2012 debut, good kid, m.A.A.d. city , which sold 242,000 copies in its first week and earned two Grammy nominations.

There’s also a chance that we’ll hear the first album from Black Hippy , TDE’s super-group comprised of Kendrick , ScHoolboy Q , Jay Rock , and Ab-Soul .

We can also can excited for upcoming solo projects from Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and the label’s R&B songstress SZA .

The news was revealed in the latest issue of Billboard , which is covered by Kendrick and Top Dawg’s new superstar ScHoolboy Q, whose Oxymoron is slated to debut atop the Albums chart next week, with a sales projection of 150,000 copies sold.

Oxymoron is the independent label’s second project of the year, following Isaiah Rashad ‘s debut EP, Cilvia Demo , which released January 28th and has peaked at #40 the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
