Latino Heritage Month (September 15th – October 15th) is underway and the AfroLatin@ Project has partnered with Geko Jones and his Que Bajo?! record label to present the Afrolatinidad Series — three free nights of film, art, and music from 7pm to 10pm .
September 25th is Film Night at La Caye Restaurant (35 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY), October 2nd will feature Visual/Performance Art at the same venue, and October 9th is Music Night at Madiba Restaurant (195 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY).
The organization is collecting school supplies (pens, pencils, books, notepads, etc.) to send to in Bocas Del Toro, Panama.
