Electro-tribal percussion permeates John Legend ‘s sensual new single, “ Made To Love ,” another solid offering from the R&B crooner’s upcoming fourth studio album, Love in the Future .
Featuring additional scatting and cooing from Kimbra , the New Zealand-born songstress who accompanied Gotye on his 2012 hit “ Somebody That I Used To Know ,” his words passionately echo “I was sent for you / We were made to love / You were to sent for me too / We were made to love.”
The first verse continues, “Oh… I’ve never seen anything / You’re much more than human being / Extraordinary machine / Oh… I never loved, I never loved, never loved someone like this / All I know is…”
Reminiscent of Kanye West ‘s KiD CuDi -assisted “ Welcome To Heartbreak “ from his 2008 808s & Heartbreak set, “Made To Love” was produced by Da Internz, Dave Tozer , Nana Kwabena , and Ye, who is co-executive producing the LP and is very involved in its process.

Further collaborations for Love in the Future include Hit-Boy, Q-Tip, 88 Keys , and No ID .
The album, described by John as “modern classic soul,” is preceded by singles “ The Beginning “ and “ Who Do We Think We Are ,” featuring Rick Ross .
Though the official tracklisting has not yet been revealed (and I’m still hoping it includes “ Dream “ ), the album is due July 25, 2013.
