“Crystalfilm,” one of my favorite Little Dragon songs from their 2011 release— Ritual Union , just received a dreamy set of visuals to match the haunting down-tempo track. Directed by Daniel Wirtberg , the beautiful short-film follows a young farm girl in the Scandinavian countryside who is pursued by a group of rather stylish masked scarecrows.
The girl goes from a curious child with a bad case of nightmares, to young woman who finally embraces the straw people. Are they in her imagination? Are they real? Enjoy the video below and purchase Ritual Union on iTunes and Amazon .
