Vogue Italia Goes Backstage for Black Fashion Week Paris

Earlier this month, Paris was descended upon by the crème de la crème of stylists from the African diaspora for the first ever Black Fashion Week.

Launched by Adama Paris, designers and models from all over the world were given the opportunity to experience and discuss the trends and innovations of Black fashion.

Seeking to show the influence of Afro-inspired trends on the current fashion scene, the event still managed to draw criticism for its name.
