Music is truly therapy; in this instance, Pillow Talk , the latest offering from Tiffany Gouché , almost made forget about how under the weather I’ve been feeling.

The third in a consistent line of soulfully sensuous EPs, the 8-track project makes it hard to pin down standouts but I’ll try: “Pillow Talk,” “Ready 2 Go,” and “Red Rum Melody.”

The Inglewood singer-songwriter and producer, who has worked with Jill Scott, Dr. Dre, Robert Glasper, Hit-Boy, Missy Elliot , and The Pussy Cat Dolls , produced each gem on Pillow Talk , with co-production by Nate 3D of D.R.U.G.S , DK the Punisher , and Darryl “SiR” Farris . The set is preceded by her 2014 EPs, Fantasy and LionHeart .
