The 29-year-old alternative R&B singer says the sensual tune has helped to define the sound of his forthcoming third studio album, Wildheart, out on June 30, 2015 via ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
He also shared that while he spends a lot of time in the studio, he prefers playing live. “The music that we make in the studio is really just an advertisement to see us live,” he says.
As Wildheart‘s lead single, “Coffee” originally appeared on his three-song nwa.hollywooddreams.coffee EP in late December.
Wildheart is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Miguel’s 2012 acclaimed sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream, which spent 20 weeks on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
