Listen: FKA twigs Performs Three Songs from Debut ‘LP1’ on ‘Zane Lowe’

Last week English alternative R&B songstress FKA twigs stopped by BBC’s Maida Vale Studios to share a bit of her journey with host Zane Lowe , as well as some new music.

Joined by her electronic band, the rising star performed three singles from her brand new debut album, LP1 : “Two Weeks,” “Give Up,” and “Pendulum.”

In their session, FKA and Zane also chatted about London’s interesting hip-hop and krumping scenes. Take a listen above.

Featuring production from Dev Hynes, Inc, Sampha, Paul Epworth and Arca , Twigs’ 10-track LP1 follows her shorter releases EP1 (2012) and EP2 (2013).

LP1 released August 6th via Hostess Entertainment in Japan; August 11th via Young Turks in the UK; and August 12th via XL Recordings in the U.S. The vinyl will hit he U.S. on August 25th via XL as well.
