MTV will soon bring back their hit show House of Style and rapper/part-time model Iggy Azalea has been chosen as the host of the show.

The new season will premiere on August 4 on MTV.com, with Iggy calling it “wild, crazy, fun, and fascinating all at the same time.”

The show originally premiered in January 1, 1989, focusing on America’s growing fascination with the “supermodel” craze.

The show focused on fashion, lives of models, the modeling industry, and controversial topics such as eating disorders and was hosted by Cindy Crawford .

Following Crawford’s six-year run, MTV cut the number of episodes ordered for each year after her departure until the show was reduced to a yearly special and then ultimately canceled in 2000.

This season, presented exclusively by Unilever’s Caress, Degree Women, and TRESemmé, House of Style will chronicle how the fashion industry evolves alongside music and technology.

Iggy will be at the helm of the series, taking viewers from L.A.’s best vintage stores with Jeremy Scott to music video sets with Rita Ora .

Iggy is also nominated for seven awards at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards including Video of the Year for “Fancy.”

Following the VMAs on August 24, she will appear in a House of Style VMA fashion special on August 26 at 7 p.m. EST.
