2013 wasn’t a great year for big name music artists when it came to hits and album sales. Celine Dion , Britney Spears , Lady Gaga and Cher are a few of those artists who have sold millions of records in their careers, but with the way the industry has changed these days, their sales have shifted downwards.
However, poor sales didn’t stop artists from releasing good music and I dont’ just mean singles wise. I bought a lot of albums last year and I was disappointed with a few but many exceeded my expectations.
This is my list of My 13 Favorite Albums of 2013. I decided to use the number 13 for two reasons: #1 it coincides with the year that we’ve left so I thought it would be an interesting play on it and #2 my birthday is July 13th. So the number, even though it’s been known to be unlucky, is my favorite number and it’s only right to use it. Take a look at my list below:
