Rihanna wears a studded lambskin jacket and skirt from Versace, with an oval link necklace and cable bracelets from David Yurman on Elle magazine's May 2012 issue.

Rihanna , who is no longer a blonde , covers the May 2012 issue of Elle Magazine , which hits newsstands on April 17th. Looking as sexy as ever and dressed in a studded lambskin jacket and skirt from Versace , the pop star speaks on her breakup with Chris Brown and the backlash over their reconciliation, wanting kids, finding that perfect guy, and much more. Take a look at a few excerpts below, as well as the pictures from her Tom Munro -shot photo spread.

On her breakup with Chris Brown:

“I was going through the hardest time of my life. I was angry, sad, confused, torn. I was still in love. And I needed to talk about it. That was the only way I could get peace, because it was in my head, and I couldn’t leave it there.”

“It gave me guns. I was like, well, fuck. They know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. […] Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide.”

On the backlash from her reconciliation with Chris:

“The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It’s very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s all right. I don’t hate them for it. Because tomorrow I’m still going to be the same person. I’m still going to do what I want to do.”

“It’s like, one less skeleton in the closet, one less burden, one less secret; now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide.”

On finding the perfect man someday:

“I feel like it’s hard for everybody! I don’t think it has anything to do with being famous. There’s just a major drought out there. […] But I just need to find the person who balances me out, because then things like my schedule won’t matter. I’ve done it before, so I know I can do it again.”

On having kids in the future:

“It could be tomorrow. It could be 20 years from now. I just feel like when the time is right, God will send me a little angel. But first, of course, I have to find a man. I mean, there’s a very important missing piece to the puzzle here!”

About Teonny Spears

My name is Teonn but you can call me Teonny or Teonny Spears if you want! As you can tell by name, I am a big Britney Spears fan, so be VERY careful what you say about her in my presence lol. I've been blogging and vlogging collectively for 8 years, and I'm still learning the art and crafts of writing to make myself better and build my own style. I specialize in Pop music but don't let that fool you, I also write about fashion, TV shows, music, album sales, and other genres of music such as Rap, R&B, and even Country (Taylor Swift is my everything). I'm scared of spiders and the dark. I'm random, funny, controlling, nice, manipulative, opinionated and materialistic.Follow me on Twitter at @teonnyspears. View all posts by Teonny Spears
