Countdown begins for new ‘Queen Latifah Show’
Remember when Queen Latifah had a short-lived talk show (1999-2001)? Well the queen plans to make a return to daytime tv with The Queen Latifah Show on CBS this Fall.
The countdown for the show begins a year after the announcement that she was teaming up with Will Smith, Overbrook Entertainment, and Sony Pictures TV to produce a show.
Featuring celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture, and music, the show has an official premiere date of Monday, September 16, 2013, at 11 am.
The Queen Latifah Show will be joining a rather saturated daytime market, which includes The Wendy Williams Show (Fox), The Steve Harvey Show (NBC/Universal), Trisha Goddard (NBC/Universal), Live (ABC), The Talk, and The View.
