Focused on “the unknown and the unseen,” a new monthly digital, GODS Magazine, plans to widen our perspectives on fashion with edgy photo editorials that highlight forthcoming cultural influences — models, designers, photographer, stylists, etc.
The relatively underground world of Afro-punk fashion is among the magazine’s first to be explored in an eye-catching feature titled, AFROPUNK Pin Up.
Photographed Sebastian Lucrecio, brown beauties India Christin Lane (Ford Models) and Rachel V (MC2 Models) are styled in vintage vests, NYC Sex Trash bustiers and lingerie, and Gemma Redux chokers chosen by fashion editor Soukéna Roussi.
Both models are adorned in extravagant afros shaped by Takayuki Shibata, with makeup by mua Junko Kioka. Enjoy more of these lovely pin-ups below.
