The night after Christmas, Excursions — Chicago’s monthly underground dance exploration into diverse sounds of deep house music — will commence with special guests DJs Soulphonetics (Christian Vera and Caswell James).

Heavily infused with rhythms of the Afro-Latin diaspora, this musical journey encompasses a variety of influences from broken beat, tech house, jazz-funk, and classic and nu-soul.
