Lush vocals and voluminous strings seem to collide with sunshine in Lianne La Havas ‘ new single “Unstoppable.”

“It’s just gravitational / We are unstoppable / I just can’t escape the pull,” the London soul songstress croons over the Paul Epworth production, which is built upon an instrumental recording by experimental London rock-jazz-funk trio The Invisible .

Out July 31, 2015 via Warner Brothers Records, Blood came together during Lianne’s recent trip to Jamaica to explore her roots.

Earlier this year, she stated that each song encompasses “the feeling of who you are and where you come from,” as well as Jamaica-inspired grooves, rhythms, and syncopation.

While re-connecting with family, she teamed up with reggae/dancehall producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor , who produced most of the songs on the record.

Additional production credits include Mark Batson , with “Wonderful” co-written by Aqualung ‘s Matt Hales , Disclosure ‘s Howard Lawrence and Lianne and “Green and Gold” co-produced and co-written by Jamie Lidell .

Blood is the follow-up to Lianne’s 2012 debut album Is Your Love Big Enough? , which peaked at #4 on the UK Albums Chart and won iTunes Album of The Year.
