Quvenzhané Wallis, the star of Will Gluck‘s modernized Annie, is featured in the New York Times’ T Magazine this month.
The film, which opens Friday, December 19, casts the 11-year-old actress in her second big screen lead role, this time alongside Jamie Foxx as Daddy Warbucks and Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan.
We were first introduced to her as six-year-old Hushpuppy in Benh Zeitlin‘s critically acclaimed 2012 drama film Beasts of the Southern Wild.
