Watch: Dessa Comes Out Swinging in “Fighting Fish” Video

This week Doomtree lyricist and singer Dessa debuts a brand new video for “ Fighting Fish “ directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen .

“Don’t get it twisted man, her bite is a bitch,” she raps over the Lazerbeak -produced track. “You can name, you can keep her / But take care when you feed her / You never can take the fight out the fish…”

“Fighting Fish” appears on Dessa’s sophomore studio album Parts of Speech , which was released June 25, 2013 via Doomtree Records and debuted at #74 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The set was followed by an EP titled Parts of Speech, Re-Edited , which was released on June 17, 2014.

The Midwest rapper is set to tour the East Coast this fall, starting off in Detroit on September 18th. Check the full list of dates here .
