Chef, author, Red Rooster owner Marcus Samuelsson is helping families impacted by last month’s tragic gas explosion in East Harlem with a charity event on Wednesday, April 2nd.

Harlem Helps: A Benefit for The East Harlem Collapse will feature a cocktail party, food, and live performances by the Broadway cast of Chicago , vocalist Jazzmeia Horn , The National Jazz Museum in Harlem All Star Ensemble and more.

Marcus will be joined by co-hosts David Lauren, Lise Evans, Bevy Smith, Tre’ness Woods-Black, Sidra Smith, Troy White , and Karl Franz.

Tickets are still available, and proceeds will go directly to the victims of the collapse via American Red Cross in Greater NY: East Harlem Collapse Relief .
