The soundtrack to the animated Disney film Frozen has finally made its way to the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart .

This means that the previous three week spot holder, Beyoncé ‘s self-titled fifth studio album BEYONCE , has finally taken a tumble to the #2 spot, which may not even last long.

Frozen has sold a total of 165,000 copies in the week ending Jan. 5, rising from its #4 spot from last week.

The soundtrack is the first to reach #1 in almost a year, since Les Miserables rose to the spot on the January 19, 2013 chart.

That chart reflected the sales week that ended Jan. 6, mirroring how this week’s chart reflects the week ending January 5, 2014. BEYONCE sold an additional 130,000 copies this week, bringing it’s current United States total to 1.43 million.

Steadily growing in popularity, Frozen also serves as the fourth highest grossing film of 2013, despite being released in late November.

It has earned $301 million in the United States and Canada alone, and $643 million worldwide.
