British pop star Rita Ora has been cast in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
She’ll take on the role of Mia, the adopted younger sister of 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey, played by Irish actor Jamie Dornan (Marie Antoinette).
The Sam Taylor-Johnson-directed feature also stars Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford, and Max Martini.
This won’t be Rita’s first venture into film. She’s previously appeared in 2004 British drama titled Spivs and Fast & Furious 6.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by E.L. James, Fifty Shades of Grey began filming this month in Vancouver. The movie’s release date has been pushed from August 1, 2014 to February 13, 2015.
