Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have made their return to pop music with the lead singles from their upcoming studio albums… and though I like them, they’ve left me slightly disappointed. Luckily for me, in 27 days, all of that will change.
For the past four months, rumors have been circulating all over the inter-webs that Britney Spears has been working on her eighth studio album.
And while some of the rumors were blown way out of proportion, some managed to be legit.
Now, Britney herself has started the official countdown by shutting down her official website and adding a clock that counts down from 27 days with the words “All Eyes On Me” under it.
In an interview with my idol, Ryan Seacrest , Britney stated:
“I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I’ve ever done. Will has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I’ve listened to that are really cool that I haven’t actually written on yet, but there’s a lot of guitar and I think people will be surprised with this album. It’s gong to be really different.”
Along with will.i.am , Britney has been in the studio alongside William Orbit, Naughty Boy, Danja, and Dr. Luke .
