From the moment I heard the blaring fuzzed-out guitars on Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead,” it felt familiar. That’s because it sounds a lot like “Elephant,” a high-energy psychedelic rock single by Australian band Tame Impala.

Washington, D.C.-based producer Nate Belasco noticed the connection and decided to mash them together. The result is phenomenal. Listen below:

Released in 2012 on Tame Impala’s sophomore album Lonerism, “Elephant” appeared in commercials for the Blackberry Z10. It was listed #7 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 2012.

“Black Skinhead,” which appears on Kanye’s sixth studio album Yeezus, was been released to radio July 4, 2013.
