Watch: Trailer for One Direction’s 3D Concert Film ‘This Is Us’

UK boy band One Direction is riding their success train as much as they should, and I like it. This is exactly what you are supposed to do while people are still interested in you.

The band has released the official trailer for their upcoming 3D concert film This Is Us .

The biopic film was directed by Morgan Spurlock , and produced by Spurlock, alongside, Ben Winston , Adam Milano and Simon Cowell , and will be released by TriStar Pictures on August 20, 2013.

In support of the film, they will be releasing a four track EP entitled “Best Song Ever,” on July 22, 2013. The EP is currently available for pre-order now from iTunes, and it serves as the first official song from their upcoming third studio album, which may be released this year.

1D are currently on a worldwide tour in support of their second album Take Me Home . They’ve also recently announced the first two legs of a worldwide stadium tour for 2014 – including eight sold out dates in the U.K. and Ireland.

In the course of their two year career, they have managed to release two studio albums: Up All Night , which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart selling 176,000 copies in its first week, and Take Me Home , which also debuted at #1 with 540,000 copies sold.

To date, Up All Night has sold 1.6 million in the United States and 4.5 million worldwide, while Take Me Home has sold an estimated 1.4 million in the United States and 4.4 million worldwide. Take a look at the trailer below:
