Chicago // Soulphonetics Celebrates 4 Years of ‘Dance Syndrome’ | Mar. 30
On March 30th, Chicago’s Soulphonetics (Christian Vera and Caswell James) will be celebrating the four year anniversary of Dance Syndrome, the city’s longest running, monthly electro/global-bass dance party!
Originally launched at the now extinct Butterfly Social Club, the party has since taken over Taxim in Wicker Park, and continues to follow its motto: “Come and experience a night where your mind, body and soul will be throbbing and wanting more as we take you through the latin influenced experience of total coolness.”
Over the past few years, Dance Syndrome has featured an abundance of internationally-recognized talents including Zuzuka Poderosa (Brazil/NYC), Uproot Andy (NYC), Quantic (Colombia/UK), DJ Romasoul (Sarajevo), and Patafunk (Venezuela) — to name just a few.
Joining Soulphonetics will be guest djs Shon Dervis of Furious Styles and Chicago-based collective, Sonorama.
