Rihanna vocally impresses fans and critics with live SNL peformances
Rihanna has come a long way vocally, as proven by her November 10th appearance on Saturday Night Live. She performed two new songs from her forthcoming seventh studio album, Unapologetic, which will drop worldwide on November 19th.
She started off with her hit new single, “Diamonds,” which has reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and serves as Ri‘s 23rd Top 10 hit. A somber “Stay” followed and undoubtedly impressed fans and critics alike.
When describing the feel of Unapologetic she told MTV, “every song is special and it means something. It’s mid-tempo but it’s mellow. It’s a stoner’s album kind of.”
